Business Security
CCTV and IP Camera Solutions Sydney
AA Network Technologies designs and installs modern IP camera systems for offices, warehouses, retail and medical practices across Sydney and Parramatta. Because we are network engineers first, your cameras are designed as part of your IT environment, not bolted onto it: cameras and recording on an isolated network segment, strong credentials, patched firmware, remote viewing that is actually secure, and storage sized so footage is still there when you need it. Regulated installation work is carried out by appropriately licensed security installers, and every job ends with plain-English handover documentation so your team can export footage without calling anyone.

Frequently asked questions
About cctv & ip camera solutions
Do CCTV installers need a licence in NSW?
Yes. In NSW, installing security equipment such as CCTV is regulated work under the Security Industry Act 1997 and must be done by the holder of an appropriate Class 2 security licence. Regulated installation work on our projects is performed by appropriately licensed installers, and we are happy to show credentials before work begins.
Can cameras share our office network?
They can physically share the cabling and switches, but they should sit on their own isolated network segment. Cameras are a common weak point in business networks, so we place them on a dedicated VLAN that cannot reach your file shares, email or business systems.
Can we view the cameras remotely?
Yes. You get secure remote viewing on phone and desktop, protected with strong credentials and multi-factor authentication. We avoid cheap camera cloud services with poor security track records.
How long is footage kept?
Storage is sized to your requirement during design. Most businesses keep 30 to 90 days. If your insurer, landlord or industry obligations specify a retention period, tell us and we will size the system to meet it.
Can you upgrade our old analogue cameras?
Yes. In many buildings we can reuse existing cabling with the right adapters, which keeps the upgrade cost down. We assess the site first and tell you honestly what can be reused.
Do you maintain the system after installation?
Yes. We offer maintenance plans that include camera health monitoring, firmware updates, storage checks and priority callouts, so you find out about a failed camera before the day you actually need the footage.
