Frequently asked questions

About it procurement

Which business laptops do you recommend?

For most professional services staff, a Lenovo ThinkPad or HP EliteBook in the 14-inch range hits the right balance of build quality, performance and warranty. Creative and engineering staff usually go MacBook Pro or a higher-spec ThinkPad. We recommend based on the role, not what we have in stock.

Do you mark up hardware?

Yes, modestly, and we tell you exactly what the margin is. There's no way to procure business hardware at zero margin, but you should always see what you're paying for. We often save clients money overall by consolidating suppliers.

How quickly can you get a new laptop for a starter?

Two to five business days for standard configurations, delivered pre-configured and ready to log in. We keep common models in short supply so urgent starters aren't stuck.

Do you handle Microsoft licensing?

Yes. We're a Microsoft partner and manage licensing through Microsoft 365 CSP. You get the same pricing as buying direct, plus a proper tenant relationship and monthly billing on one invoice.

What about old equipment?

We arrange secure data wiping to Australian standards, then trade-in, donation or e-waste disposal depending on the device's condition.

Can we get a monthly leasing option?

Yes, we can arrange Device-as-a-Service leasing on 24 or 36 month terms with hardware refresh included. Suits firms that want predictable costs instead of capex spikes.
