When should we build custom software instead of buying SaaS?

How long does a build take?
A focused internal tool takes six to twelve weeks from kickoff. Larger applications run three to six months. We work in short releases so you see progress every two weeks.
What technology do you use?
React and TypeScript on the front-end, Node.js or Python on the back-end, Postgres for the database, hosted on Azure or Cloudflare. Modern, well-supported stack that any competent developer can pick up.
Who owns the code?
You do. Full source code, documentation and hosting credentials are yours from day one. If you ever want to take it elsewhere, you can.
Do you support the software after launch?
Yes. Most clients keep us on a small monthly retainer for maintenance, small changes and monitoring. We're clear about what's fixed cost and what's project work.
