Cloud Services Sydney

AA Network Technologies helps Sydney businesses move confidently to the cloud without the runaway costs or the vendor lock-in horror stories. We plan and deliver migrations to Microsoft 365 and Azure, move file servers to SharePoint or cloud storage that behaves like a network drive, and rebuild backup and disaster recovery so you can actually restore what you lose. Every engagement starts with a written plan you understand and a cost forecast that doesn't surprise you at the end of the month.

Frequently asked questions

About cloud services

Should we move off our on-prem server?

In most cases, yes. Modern businesses under about 150 staff rarely need on-prem infrastructure. Moving to Microsoft 365 and Azure eliminates hardware refresh cycles, improves remote work and usually costs less over five years. We give you a written comparison before you decide.

How long does a cloud migration take?

A typical small business migration from on-prem to Microsoft 365 takes four to eight weeks end to end, depending on data volume and number of users. Larger or more complex environments - line-of-business apps, legacy databases - can take longer. We give firm dates before we start.

Will cloud cost us more?

Not usually, once you factor in hardware, power, backup software and admin time. Where cloud bills grow unexpectedly it's almost always because nothing was sized properly at the start. We build cost forecasts into every plan and review monthly.

Do you work with Azure and AWS?

Azure is where most of our work happens because it aligns with Microsoft 365, but we also support existing AWS environments. If AWS is genuinely the better fit for your workload, we'll say so.

What about backup?

Cloud backup is a separate product from cloud infrastructure. We use dedicated backup platforms that capture Microsoft 365, Azure and any remaining on-prem systems, with tested restores every quarter.

Can you migrate our Sydney office without disrupting work?

Yes. Migrations are staged and most cutovers happen over a weekend so staff arrive Monday to a working environment. We're on-site in Sydney CBD or Parramatta for the cutover.
